Syracuse, New York (March 19, 2010) – Move Along Incorporated has officially joined resources with Syracuse Flyers Wheelchair Sports Inc through a legal name change and election of a new Board of Directors.
The mission of Move Along Inc. is to provide recreational opportunities for people who live with disabilities in Central New York. By offering an array of athletic and artistic programming and opportunities for peer-to-peer support, Move Along Inc. will help build and develop participants’ self-confidence and enhance their sense of self-worth, thereby enabling them to better integrate themselves fully into society and act as their own advocates.
In recognition of the election to the Move Along Inc. Board of Directors, thank you to the following individuals:

Move Along currently has active programs in tennis, basketball, sled hockey, and kayaking. Programming formerly operating under the name Syracuse Flyers Wheelchair Sports Inc. will continued to be offered by Move Along Inc. without any interruptions.  The Board of Directors of Move Along Inc. welcomes assistance from the community as they to pursue networks for funding and sponsorship opportunities enabling the growth of current programs at youth, recreational, and adult/competitive levels.
